S0638 — Condominium Associations

Senate Bill 638 was filed to require condominium associations to maintain turnover certificates and annual reports as official records, and to require boards to file turnover certificates with the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes.

The bill would have required condominium association boards of administration to file turnover certificates with the state Division within a specified timeframe and to maintain turnover certificates and annual reports as part of official records. The bill would have directed the Division to create and maintain a searchable electronic database of turnover certificates filed by condominium associations.
