The bill requires community association managers and community association firms to obtain a specified amount of insurance. The bill provides for revocation of a community association manager's license and barring of a manager from licensure. The bill requires certain community associations to contract with a licensed community association management firm and requires board members, officers, and directors to ensure the firm or manager is properly licensed. The bill provides that timeshare management firms and their licensed employees are subject only to certain licensing and disciplinary requirements specified in the bill, with priority given to those provisions in case of conflict with other law.

Community association managers, community association firms, community associations that are required to contract with management firms, timeshare management firms, and their licensed employees.
